Marjorie Ann “Marge” Anderson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Marjorie Ann Morse Andersen June 13, 1943 - December 1, 2021 Marjorie Ann Morse Andersen, age 78, passed peacefully, her son and caretaker, Arthur, by her side on December 1, 2021. She battled Alzheimers the last 10 years of her life. Marjorie was the daughter of Lynn E. and Louise Vavricka Morse born on June 13, 1943 in Goshen, NY. Marge graduated from Goshen Central High School, Geneseo State College and obtained her Master's Degree in Special Education from The University of Utah. Marge was a gifted educator and advocate. She would found Utah's first daycare for children with special needs, later work with troubled youth in SLC roughest schools, and championed for better standards in the S. Fallsburg, NY school district. Marge retired from the Las Vegas School System as a facilitator for the district establishing care plans for children. Marge attended the Methodist church throughout her life and was a faithful servant to God and the church community. She loved to sing and was involved in various roles, even helping to found a church in North Las Vegas, NV. Marge had the Mary Kay enthusiasm, selling those products for many years. She was a real people person and even towards the end of her life, she loved to make people smile with a joke or a compliment. Marge is survived by her sons Arthur Robert Andersen (Heidi Bryson), James Andersen (Robin) and step son Darrel Andersen. She is survived by her siblings: Lynn E. (Peggy) Morse, Aurora, Missouri; Louise Carol (Vincent) Mezzetti, Warwick, NY; Jean Marie Loderhose, Owasso, Oklahoma; Edith M. Geagley, Middletown, NY; Louis W. (Lilly) Morse, Conway, S.C.; sister in law Joy Morse, Las Vegas, NV and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, nephews and cousins. Marge was predeceased by her husband Arthur Robert Andersen, her parents, step daughter Dale Andersen, her brother Richard K. Morse, her nephews Donald Morse, Richard Morse, and Christopher Loderhose.
