Jeffrey Alan Price

June 30, 1953 - March 5, 2021

Jeffrey Alan Price was born on June 30,1953 in Brooklyn NY. He was the second born to Bertram and Elmira Price. Jeffrey was formally educated through the New York City Public School System. He briefly attended Brooklyn Technical High School and obtained his diploma from Jamaica High School in 1971. Jeffrey held various jobs which included Macy’s, United States Postal Service at JFK Airport, and a manager of Fresh Way Food Services. As a youngster he was a fan of the New York Baseball Giants. Jeffrey enjoyed classic television, could answer most questions on Jeopardy and was a lover of music. He was an avid reader of all literature especially New York newspapers. His hobbies included crossword puzzles, chess and a good laugh. Although he had known her early on in life, Jeffrey began dating the love of his life and lifelong companion Richelle. They were married on September 20, 1975 and just celebrated their 45th anniversary. From this union they had Jeffrey Jr. and Jennifer. The love that they had for each other is an exceptional symbol of a lifetime of love and happiness. People often said you did not see one without the other. Jeffrey was the epitome of a fun loving and a gentle soul. He rarely raised his voice and was very protective of those he cared about especially the women in his life. Whenever Jeffrey was around the sun shined a little brighter. Jeffrey departed this life on March 5,2021. The world is a sadder place without him in our lives. He would want us to remember that when we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Richelle and sister Karen. He leaves to cherish his lasting memory: his children Jeffrey Jr and Jennifer, grandchildren James and Alexander, sisters Nancy and Shirley, brothers Gordon and Bertram, Jr and a host of relatives and friends.
