Dorothy Patricia Purvis of Bloomingburg Ny, formally of Spring Valley NY, entered eternal rest on February 25th, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center with family bedside. Dorothy was born To Joseph Sheehy And Dorothy Brown In Manhattan, NY. she Graduated From Spring Valley High School In 1954 where she met the love of her life, Thomas. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband and best friend of 55 years, Thomas Robert Purvis JR. She Is survived by two amazing daughters who she loved deeply. Her daughter and caretaker Dorothy Dorn and husband, John of Bloomingburg, and daughter Christine Wanamaker Of Port Jervis NY. She is survived by 3 sisters, Eleanor Davanzo, Maureen Sheehy, Rita Brown and was predeceased By brother Stevie Brown And Sister, Patty Brown. Dorothy Is survived by five granddaughters who truly meant the world to her. Christina Cintron and husband Ryan Roberts of Wurtsboro NY, Diana Delevechio And husband Antonio of Valdosta GA, Lisa Scott and husband Christopher of Bloomingburg NY, Gina Fouvy And husband Mark of Hopewell Junction, Deana Wanamaker of Port Jervis NY. Dorothy Is Survived by her niece, Nicole Lajara and husband Raymond. Ten great grand babies who she adored, Alysia Roberts, Julianna Roberts, Ryan Roberts JR, Antonio Delvecchio JR, John Delvecchio, Angelece Delvecchio, Cameron Scott, Eliana Scott, Robert Fouvy, And Henry Fouvy. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo and being around family. She had the biggest heart and would give the shirt off her back to anyone. Our family would like to thank Dr Rachel Colvin for eight wonderful years of care after her kidney transplant, as well as Westchester Medical Center Kidney Transplant Team. Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 28, 2018 from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM . A funeral service will be conducted at 8PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spring Valley NY
