Anna Josephine Martin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anna Josephine Martin (nee Kelly) born November 6, 1929, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022, at Garnet Health Medical Center with her family by her side. Nicknamed Nancy by her mother, she was the second oldest child of Patrick and Kathleen Kelly. She is predeceased by her sisters, Mary Llewelyn (Kevin), Kathleen Tufano Lloyd (John), her brother Thomas Kelly, and her grandson Billy’s mom, Barbara Paturzo. She married her loving husband William Charles Martin on September 3, 1949, at St. Jerome’s Church, South Bronx, New York. They were married 63 years until his death in 2012. Nancy graduated from St. Jerome’s Grammar School and Cathedral High School (annex) and worked as an Executive Secretary for Fischbach & Moore for almost 20 years in Sunnyside, New York. She was a proud member of the IBEW Local 3 Union. She leaves behind her loving children Nancy Finnegan (Kenneth) and Stephen Martin; her grandchildren Tracey Salinardi (Phillip), Kenneth Finnegan, Margaret Finnegan and William Martin as well as her six great-grandchildren, Brendan, Patrick, Michael and Caitlin Conklin, Siobhan McDermott and Mae Finnegan. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces and nephews and their spouses in both the Kelly and Martin families and her brother-in-law Mario Ferriello. There will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 11th, 2022 at 11:00 am at Infant Saviour Church, Pine Bush, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Infant Saviour Church, Pine Bush. Arrangements have been made through our close friends and neighbors, Christopher and Raquel Martinez, Dewitt-Martinez Funeral Home, Pine Bush, NY and Middletown, NY.
